1. General information

Main focus of the approach


Productive pedagogy (https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/inform/yr2002/mar/pedagogy.htm) and proactive engagement of students in practical projects through a socially supportive environment where students are able to influence activities and how they are implemented. It also involves a high degree of self-regulation by students.

Key contexts for use of approach


Creative group work, exploring interrelations, interdependencies and inequalities, social action - commonly used in social geography and arts education.
