General information

Main focus of the approach

Assessing practical activities in the classroom

Key contexts for use of approach

Applying and evidencing theory and understanding through practical exercises in the class room such as role playing, practical research projects, enquiry based learning and technology based assessment projects such as the development of a collaborative wiki.

It is a method that challenges students to "learn to learn," often working collaboratively in groups to seek solutions to real world problems, often using their own experience.
