Buddies

There is now a high percentage of students in Higher Education who have some form of declared disability.  This site provides resources to help lecturers change the way they assess to be more relevant to people with disabiltiies.

Towards Learning Creatively has been funded under the Fund for Teaching and Learning Phase 5 and carried out by three universities working together: Southampton Solent University, Oxford Brookes University and Bournemouth University.

Through tips, advice and case studies on this site, you will be able to:

  • Try out and evaluate  innovative assessments
  • Be more inclusive in your approach to assessing students
  • Reduce plagiarism
  • Respond to students' learning styles
  • Help develop skills employers want
